First Church of Christ, Scientist, Stratford upon Avon We are part of the Christian Science community in Warwickshire. From its beginnings in America it has spread throughout the world.

Christian Science was discovered by Mary Baker Eddy in 1866, and the Church of Christ, Scientist was founded in 1879. Our church, the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Stratford-upon-Avon is one of the many branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. This particular branch has been in existence since 1949 and has recently been rebuilt. We h

old services every Sunday and Wednesday, and also have a Sunday School for young people up to the age of twenty. Our Reading Room is a quiet place to study and pray, and also sells Christian Science publications.
