Are you tired of the “scarcity” race? 🏃💨
We often ask our careers, our relationships, and our bank accounts to carry a weight they weren’t designed to hold. When we believe the lie that we are “insufficient,” life gets smaller. We start protecting and achieving instead of truly living.
The Shift:
• From Found: Recognizing Christ is the “surpassing value” that makes everything else secondary.
• To Freed: No longer seeing others as competition, but as neighbors.
• To Fruitful: Living as “stars in the darkness” through a presence that isn’t anxious.
Reflect this week: What would change if you truly lived as though you already have enough in Him?

Last Sunday, pastor John focused on God’s generosity as a core part of His character and started our month of Generosity.
He emphasized that God gives freely—love, grace, forgiveness, and blessings—not because we earn them, but because He is good.
This truth is echoed in the Book of Psalms 112:5, which reminds us that “Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.” God’s generosity toward us calls us to reflect that same generosity in our daily lives.

Generosity begins with God. Before we ever gave, served, or believed, He was already giving. Every breath and every blessing flows from His generous heart.

Christianity doesn’t start with our effort, it starts with His grace. God isn’t reluctant; He delights in giving. His greatest gift was Jesus, freely given because He loves us.

When we truly receive that, generosity becomes our response. We don’t give to prove anything, we give because we’ve been filled.

Gratitude fuels generosity. Grace changes us. A generous God creates generous people.

March is our Month of Generosity at OCC

Generosity and mission are at the heart of who we are, it’s how we live OUT our faith. In the past, our Month of Generosity saw people serving across our community and supporting mission local and global mission.

Now we’re relaunching it.

Throughout March, we’ll lean into a generous way of life — forming habits, creating opportunities, and cultivating hearts that reflect God’s generous love.

Join us. Serve boldly. Give freely. Live generously.
