On the site of a former Saxon monastery the magnificent riverside church dates from 1210 and is Stratford upon Avon's oldest building. William Shakespeare was baptised here in 1564, saw his daughters married here and lies buried in the chancel. Visitors come from all over the world to see his grave and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this English parish church. A donation is encouraged for those vi

siting the chancel and grave. Adults £2, Concessions (Seniors and Students) £1,11-16 year olds 50p, younger children free.

Music lovers will be most welcome at Holy Trinity for a free concert at 1.00pm on Thursday 8 March from the Chamber Choir and Chanteuse Women's Choir from Hudson High, visiting Stratford from Wisconsin, USA. The programme will include works from Kirchner, Wilberg and di Lasso.

Visitors may wonder why they're still up, but the Christmas season goes beyond Twelfth nigh and continues until the Feast of Candlemas, which we are celebrating today. At 6pm tonight, in church, we've a Service of Readings and Music for the Feast of Candlemas!

Well done to all those who came to the Christingle and raised so much money for a great charity!!

Thank you to everyone who braved the snow and came to our Christingle service on Sunday. We raised £298.90 for The Children's Society, to support this amazing charity in the work that they do!
