St Edward's Church, Stow on the Wold

This week we have lots of runners in Stow. We are shaking buckets in support of Little Ed.

Our service this week will be at 12 noon due to the road closures. Everyone welcome!

The countdown is on for the first Stow 10K this Sunday. Stow Mayor Alison Tighe will start the run at 9am in the Square. The community partner for the event is Save Little Ed - the Stow Town Clock. The Closely Knit team and friends will be rattling the collecting buckets. Please support the collection if you can at this fantastic new event for Stow-on-the-Wold. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🥇🏅

I’ve been out looking at how other churches do visitor engagement and checking out cream teas in the Cotswolds. Here I am as the mystery visitor and some cake in Malmesbury. Our weekly service is at St Edward’s at 10.30am this Sunday and I’m really looking forward to being back with you all. Revd Karen

Percy the pigeon is back. He’s on a tour of churches and cathedrals learning about visitor engagement. He learnt more about gargoyles than he expected but there is always tea after an adventure. At least he couldn’t get into the organ pipes….
