Thank you to the wonderful team of volunteers who helped to cut the grass in the cemetery bungalow garden. The photos show how much hard work it was and what excellent team work can achieve.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM OUR LADY AND ALL SAINTS, PARISH OFFICE. 01384 395308.

We have been advised by the fire service because of the recent hot dry weather and the fire risk that it can bring, we are going to remove any glass items such as vases, jam jars, lanterns and solar lights from the around the graves that could unintentionally create a fire risk. This includes any mirrors or shiny ornaments.
Sunlight reflected from these kinds of items can concentrate heat and create small flames which can then quickly spread to the surrounding dry grass.

These items will be placed by the wall of the bungalow near the garage for you to collect.

Please only collect items from by the garage and do not enter the rest of the cemetery - we are awaiting confirmation from our tree surgeon about the felling of an unsafe tree. We will update you as soon as we know more.
