Hello. Girls Brigade Registration will take place next Wednesday 3rd September from 6:30 to 7. This is to allow us to complete the necessary forms for the girls.

Girls brigade will start back on 10th September. If you are interested in Girls Brigade please come along on Wednesday.

Hey everyone!
We are so looking forward to welcoming the girls back to GB this year!

Our registration night will be this Wednesday (11th)
We ask that parents will drop in between 6:15pm-7pm to enrol their daughter/s and to pay the first set of fees that are due which will be £20

Our official first night back will be the following Wednesday (18th) and we will be welcoming back the girls as normal from 6:15pm-7:30pm

If your child needs a jumper, we will have the preloved jumpers available for sale for £5 limited sizes available.

Hey everyone, after discussing as a team tonight and taking to some parents we have decided we are going to make a WhatsApp group chat for girls brigade as we think it is the best way to get information across to you all.

If you would NOT like to be in the group could you please message this page and let me know before Friday afternoon as I will make the group then😊

Also we got a few names down for helpers tonight but if possible we would like a few more so that we could make a rota! The more people that help out the less of a commitment it is for you. We appreciate all the help we can get!

Hi Everyone!
Hope you all had a lovely summer and are happy to be back at school…or at least your parents are 😜

We are really looking forward to welcoming you all back to girls brigade this year. We are having our registration night on the 6th of September at 6:15pm and our first night back will be on the 13th of September at 6:15 till 7:30. This will be the times for this year, same as before

Now on to the really important things...Hi again parents! We hope you had a good summer too!
On registration night we are going to have a "preloved" box with GB jumpers in it which can be swapped for a different one, However if you would rather you can go to https://girls-brigade-scotland.org.uk/ and order a jumper from there to guarantee that you get the right size. We are also asking on registration night if £20 of the enrolment fee could be paid and we will get the other £20 in January when we start back after the new year.

If your girl/s are planning on coming back to GB this year could you please send a quick message to this page so that we have a rough number of girls before we start back.

As you may be aware 1st Stornoway Girls brigade is the only company here in Lewis and in order for us to keep the company established for our girls now and in the future we are seeking earnestly adult helpers. If you or anyone you know of are interested then please get in touch by letting us know in the message! We really appreciate any help we can get. There will also be a sign up sheet on the registration night😄

Please encourage the girls to bring some of their friends to girls Brigade as we would love to see our number rise again.
Please also send this message to anyone not on Facebook or encouraged them to join it as this is where all our updates are.

One more thing. Tuck this year will be biscuits and juice and will not cost anything for the girls.
