🥾⛪ Stonehouse Pilgrimage Walk – Thursday 10 September

St Cyr's Church - Stonehouse will be one of the stops on the Stonehouse Pilgrimage Walk during this year’s Walking Festival.

This challenging 10-mile circular walk visits a number of local churches, providing an opportunity to discover some of Stonehouse’s fascinating places of worship and the stories they hold.

When the walkers reach St Cyr’s, they’ll also have the opportunity to take a tower tour – weather permitting.

♿🚶‍♀️🚤 A special accessible day – Wednesday 9 September

We’re delighted to welcome participants on the Fair Shares Accessible Walk and Freedom on the Water.

The morning begins with a gentle half-mile, accessible and wheelchair-friendly walk. There is also an accessible boat trip along the canal at 2pm.

⛪ St Cyr's Church - Stonehouse will be open for walkers and boat trip participants, with refreshments available throughout the day.

The boat trip is open to everyone, including carers, friends and family.

🚶‍♂️🌊 Stroudwater Canal – Then & Now | Monday 7 September

Join the Stroudwater Canal, Then & Now walk and discover the story of our local canal with The Cotswold Canals Trust volunteer Andrew Franks.

The 5.5-mile moderate walk follows the canal from the Ocean to Westfield Bridge, including the fascinating “missing mile”, before returning via the fields.

And at the end of the walk, St Cyr's Church - Stonehouse will be ready to welcome you back!

⛪ Tower tours will be available – weather permitting
🍰 Refreshments and homemade cake will also be available.

🧸🚶‍♀️ Teddy Walk, Zip & Picnic – Sunday 6 September! 🧸

We’re delighted to welcome families taking part in the Teddy Walk, Zip & Picnic as part of the Stonehouse Walking Festival GL10!

Starting at the Ship Inn Community Enterprise - Spice, this gentle 1-mile family walk makes its way to St Cyr's Church - Stonehouse.

And there’s plenty waiting when you arrive…

It’s part of the Walkers Welcome event organised by The Ship Inn Community Enterprise and promises to be a lovely afternoon for families.
