We are delighted to announce that, beginning on Wednesday 7th October at 11:30am, we will be holding a Midweek Service of Traditional Worship each month.

These short services, lasting around 30–40 minutes, will have a familiar and traditional feel, with Psalms and much-loved hymns from the old hymn books, alongside prayers, Scripture readings and a short reflection.

Whether you are a regular worshipper, haven’t been to church for a while, or simply appreciate a quieter and more traditional style of worship, you will be very welcome to join us.

☕ Why not make a morning of it?
Coffee is available beforehand at the Community Café, and lunch is served there from 12 noon.

Let’s talk about this morning. It was Alpha Launch Sunday…firing the launch of our 21 days of prayer for Alpha.

We had testimonies, shared experiences, and we heard about what it means to truly “come and see!”

There truly is a seat for you.

After the coffee and cake, our Alpha teams headed down to the town centre to share Jesus with the whole town. We worshipped, we raised banners…and we gave glory to God.

The Lord touched the hearts of many men and women and young people, and we were lead to pray for them. God is doing amazing work in Stonehaven…and we cannot miss it!

We are back next week in the Square, for even more!

Its Alpha Sunday tomorrow at 10:45am in Fetteresso. This launches our 21 days of prayer for our Alpha Teams that begin on the week commencing 14th September.

Join us to find out more! There's loads happening!

Later in the day, from 1:30pm you can join us for singing and praising and sharing down at the square (across from SofaSoy)...come see us!

Later in the evening, we'll be continuing with our Seeking His Kingdom discipleship course - carrying on from where we left off before the summer! Thats from 6:30pm until 8pm lookin at Baptism and Witnessing.

Today we said THANK YOU to God for Barbara, as we recognised her retirement as Manager of our Far and Wide Charity Shop.

Far and Wide, and the ministry that happens there is so clearly held close to the heart of Stonehaven, and behind it all is so much unseen work, dedication, kindness and love.

For many years Barbara and her team have gone above and beyond to support those who are poor and in need, reflecting Christ in all that they do. There is so much more to Barbara’s ministry in Far and Wide, and her service to Stonehaven than we can possibly know.

But today, on behalf of the Kirk Session and the wider church family, we simply wanted to say thank you.

As a small gift, we presented Barbara with a special edition Bible, with the words “To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul” on the front….a fitting reminder of a life given so generously in service of God and others.

Thank you, Barbara, for all you have given and all you continue to give.

May God bless you richly in this new chapter. ❤️
