Dear brothers and sisters,

We pray that you and your families are in good health and under the protection of Allah (SWT).

We have been informed that a protest organised by a far-right group is planned to take place in Hanley Market Square on Sunday 2 August.

As a precaution, we kindly advise all the Muslim community to remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings on that day.

If possible, please avoid unnecessary travel to Hanley city centre and the Market Square area, especially during the time when the protest is expected to take place.

Please also take extra care when travelling, and check in on elderly or vulnerable family members and community members where appropriate.

We ask Allah (SWT) to keep our community safe, to protect all people from harm, and to grant peace and security to our town and country.

If anyone has any concerns or requires support, please do not hesitate to contact our Masajid administration.

We are raising *£50,000* to resurface the car park and complete our sports facilities.

This project is not just about improving appearance. A newly resurfaced and clearly marked car park will help *reduce congestion, prevent blockages, and allow better use of space, especially during busy Jumu’ah prayers*. Clear bays and an improved layout will mean smoother traffic flow, safer parking, and easier access for everyone.

The crescent moon for Ramadan has been sighted in Saudi Arabia so tomorrow, *Wednesday 18th Februray 2026* is the 1st Ramadan in sha Allah.

1st Taraweeh prayer will be tonight @ 7:30pm in sha Allah.
