🎉💛 Happy Stoke‑on‑Trent Day! 💛🎉

We’re so excited to be celebrating with a brand‑new exhibition here at Stoke Minster, shining a spotlight on last year’s record‑breaking Big Centenary Tea Party ☕🏆

📸✨ Photos, film, memories… and even the original tea sets are being carefully put in place this morning, ready for tomorrow’s big opening. It’s all part of the city‑wide celebrations honouring the spirit, pride and togetherness of Stoke‑on‑Trent.

This free exhibition has been lovingly created by YMCA North Staffordshire, with support from Stoke Minster and Carse & Waterman Productions — a true community effort.

Pop in for a cuppa, soak up the atmosphere, and relive the moment we made history together 💙

🎶✨ We’re delighted to be hosting the University Hospital Orchestra Summer Concert here at Stoke Minster! ✨🎶

Join us on Sunday 14th June at 5pm for an uplifting evening of music featuring the University Hospital Orchestra, conducted by Chris Satur, and the wonderful Rock Choir, led by Beverley Mason.

It’s set to be a fantastic celebration of talent, community and summer spirit, all in the beautiful surroundings of our Minster 💒💛

We’ve had a tiny hiccup today with the scarifier (all fixed now! 🔧😅), so we’re starting a little later than planned.

And yes… that’s exactly why you’ll need to wear proper shoes to protect those toes! 👟🐾

We’re delighted to welcome you to a joyful afternoon of favourite hymns, uplifting readings and conversation, all in the beautiful setting of Stoke Minster.

We’re also honoured that The Lord Mayor will be joining us, making this a truly special community occasion.

After the service, stay for tea and cakes as we share fellowship together.
Admission is free, and a collection will be taken in support of the Church Army’s work with vulnerable people and communities.
