St.Peter's Church, Caverswall Services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in the month at 9:30am St. The daughter Church St.

Peter’s is a 12th Century Church (Grade ll*) set in the village of Caverswall (population approx. 1500) which is on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands. Andrew’s is one mile from Caverswall and is in the heart of the district of Weston Coyney (population 11,000) which is one of the suburbs of Stoke-on-Trent which is a recently created Unitary Authority. We are here this Sunday, September 6th at 9:30am for a service of Holy Communion. We will be starting a new sermon series, titled ‘Teach us to Pray’ and will start by looking at Matthew 6: 5-13.

Lammas Service
A Reminder for everyone:

On Sunday 30th our three congregations (St Peter’s Church Caverswall, All Saints’ Church Dilhorne & St Andrew’s Church Weston Coyney), are getting together at Old Hall Farm, Consall, Wetley Rocks, ST9 0AF @ 10am for an early Harvest Festival Service, Lammas, and everyone is invited! All Saints’ music band will be leading the worship and we will have refreshments afterwards. We do have cover if the rain persists!

Please note this is the only service this Sunday and apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience. We do hope you will join us there.

Sunday 16th August
Our services are here for Holy Communion at 9:30am and at St. Andrew’s for Morning Praise at 11am. You will be most welcome at either of our services.

Just a reminder that on the 30th (the fifth Sunday in the month) we will be at Old Hall Farm. Consall ST9 0AF at 10am and you are warmly invited to join us there! There are sign-up sheets at church and you can tell us if you need a lift or able to car share. It would be great to know if you’ll be joining us so we can provide enough refreshments too! N.B this will be the only service on the 30th.
Please bring along a chair if you’re unable to stand for long and please wear sensible shoes! Thanks to the Hulse family for the invitation.

As many of you already know, we try to arrange something different for any fifth Sunday in the month and August 30th will be the next one. Please note that there won’t be a service in any of our churches but instead you are warmly invited to join us at Old Hall Farm, Consall, Wetley Rocks, Staffs., ST9 0AF 10am-12noon.

As we will be providing a few refreshments we would ideally like to know if you’ll be joining us - there will be a sign-up sheet at our next two Sunday services or please drop us a message or call the parish office on 312570 to let us know.

We have our Holy Communion service this Sunday, August 2nd at 9:30am. We do hope you will join us as we continue with our sermon series, ‘The Apostles: Spirit Filled’. Do stay for a cuppa and a chat afterwards too!

On Monday 3rd the Bereavement Friendship Group will be meeting at St. Andrew’s at 10:30am and on Wednesday 5th it will be your last chance to join us here at 2pm for Open Doors! We hope to see you soon.
