On Saturday 6th June.
Trinity Rock And Blues,
had a trip to Longton Victorian Market
along with our friend Beardillo''s Music And Media.
We were made welcome by all the traders.
We also found out we are not the only TRB
In Stoke On Trent.
We are the only Trinity Rock And Blues.
The Other TRB is a barbers studio ( TRB Studios )
In Longton Market. Recently opened by a very nice
young man named Tyler Byrne who is wanting to carry on the old traditional ways of the trade. He has spent quite a few years learning and working within the trade and has now got his own studio.
It's worth a visit and so is the market.

It's a holiday to us away from Normality

We had a fantastic time.
Show casing some of the items
we sell at the Eturia Canal Festival
During the weekend.
There were some great stalls there.
Lots of people watching
and great to see people we knew
And to meet new customers.
Also got to meet two fantastic shire horses
Ebony And Bailey One was 19 years old
And the other one was twenty years old.
The people who look after them were great
and told you lots about the horses.
I went back down a few times as the horses were so beautiful, friendly and well looked after.
I asked if I could take some photos of the horses.
Ebony nodded at me. The people who look after them said Ebony as just nodded at you she heard you she likes you and is telling you can take some photos.
I bought a couple of coasters as a memory of the horses.

🛶🌺Etruria Canals Festival 2026 - World of Gardens 🌎🎉

This year's festival is just THREE WEEKS away!

📆Saturday 30th May and Sunday 31st May 11-5pm daily

This year our theme is World of Gardens - taking inspiration from the 40th anniversary of the 1986 National Garden Festival . Alongside the usual festivities of course!

We'll be sharing what's on at the festival in more detail over the next few days but you can expect:

🛶 Historic canal boats
🎨 Craft demos and Stalls
🎭 Stories and performance
🎸 Live music and entertainment
🍻 Street food and beer
🎲 Childrens games and activites
🛠 Working forge

📍The Festival takes place on the sites surrounding Etruria Industrial Museum, Kilndown Close (Off Etruria Vale Road), ST1 4RB. Public parking is at a different location see below for details.

🅿️Free Public Parking this year is at
Stoke on Trent College (Caldon Campus). The entrance to this is Stoke-on-Trent College Stoke Road Stoke-on-Trent ST4 2DG.

🚌FREE SHUTTLE BUS🚌
There will be a FREE shuttle bus leaving from Stoke College carpark and dropping off/collecting from Etruria Museum Car park (next to the footbridge entrance to the site) every 15 minutes from 10.45am-5.30pm

♿️𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀
If you are a blue badge holder & have a disability where you can use steps, there are places in the main museum car park off Kilndown Close (ST1 4RB) BUT as entry to the site this way is via a staircase footbridge over the canal this only shortens the distance to walk and cannot be used by a wheelchair.
For the disabled parking on the right side of the canal you need to come in by the Castlefield Street and Lower Bedford Street entrance (Sat Nav ST4 7AF)
