Reminder that we are offering an introduction programme for children aged 8 years and over and for adults who would like to learn more about the Catholic faith. It will consist of 6 sessions focusing on the core beliefs of the Catholic Church. The first session will be on Tuesday 30th June followed by monthly sessions… Tuesday 28th July, Tuesday 25th August, Tuesday 29th September, Tuesday 27th October and Tuesday 24th November. The sessions will start at 6pm and finish at 7pm. If you are interested or know anyone who is reaching out then please ask them to speak to someone after Mass 🙏

Prayer to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus: O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins I offer you this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to your will. Grant, Good Jesus, that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions. Our celebration of the solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ yesterday was a beautiful public witness of our shared faith and devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. After walking from our parishes of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hanley and Our Lady and St Peter's, Stoke together with Polska Parafia w Stoke on Trent, Holy Mass was celebrated by Bishop Tim, with Fr Matthew, Fr Elobe and Fr Mateusz. This was followed by the powerful and prayerful Eucharistic Procession around the Park. We truly appreciate every person who was present and are especially grateful to all those who helped with planning and preparation, setting up and tidying up, the choirs and singers, readers, altar servers and the marshals and first aiders who kept everyone safe 🙏 Archdiocese of Birmingham
