After a very wet week the sun eventually came out this morning for a litter- pick in and around Church Lawton. The starting and finishing point was All Saints’ church.
The church is working towards its Silver Eco Award and with the support of Church Lawton’s Parish Council and the Operations Committee of Lawton Memorial Hall we litter- picked our way around Church Lawton Lights, Red Bull Lights the Memorial Hall and woods. Thank you also to Cheshire East Councils Clean Teams for providing the equipment.

We are continuing the Civic weekend with our Civic Service at 10.45am and we are looking forward to welcoming the Parish Council and new chair Margaret Bleasebourne to the service.
Thank you to everyone who came along and supported this event, we now have a lot less litter in our village.

Come along to All Saints’ Spring Fayre, as a church we’re working towards our Silver Eco award. After caring for our Yew trees and counting our plastic usage we would like our visitors to know a bit more about the churchyard, the flora and fauna along with some notable graves within the church wall.
