Sunday June 21st
Institution and Induction of Revd. Joe Palfreyman
4pm St. Andrew’s Church

We are very much looking forward to this special service and we anticipate a full church. If you would like to attend could you please call our church warden Chris Lomax on 07763 758742 to confirm your attendance.

There will be refreshments between 3:00 and 3:30pm in the church hall then seating in the main church by 3:45pm ready to start the service promptly at 4:00pm.

As parking spaces are very limited we politely ask if you can park away from the church where possible, giving those with mobility issues and our visitors priority. Or perhaps you can arrange to be dropped off and collected instead. Your help and understanding in this matter is very much appreciated.

N.B PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE ONE STOP/POST OFFICE CAR PARK AS YOU WILL BE FINED!

Lastly, please keep Joe and his family in your prayers as they prepare to take up this new post, thank you.

We will be having a morning worship service at 11am with activities for children and refreshments for all afterwards. We do hope you will join us.

Acts 2:1-4
The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
