CODGERS CLUB IS MEETING TODAY 27th May 2026
TODAY Keith, one of the club members explains more about the club below :-
We are well into our eleventh successful year as a men's group. We meet once a week in the Scout hut to play games and enjoy heart warming fellowship, which in many cases has developed into strong friendships. Tea , coffee & home made cakes are provided for the £2 subs which haven't changed since day one.
In all these years we've only cancelled four times when Christmas & New Years day have been on a Wednesday.
Between twelve & eighteen men attend and always look forward to our weekly meetings. It is heart warming to see so many friendships form and develop. There is much banter before a dart is thrown or a card dealt. Laughter fills the room .
You don't have to be a Christian to join us but we are a group belonging to St. Matthias Church & through the strong support of Shaun (our Minister) we have benefitted from grants and enjoyed several meals out as a group.

So, are you a 'Senior' gentlemen or do you know someone who might enjoy this meeting? We meet at the Scout Hut in Diarmid Road on Wednesday mornings, 10.00 - 1200, to play darts or card and board games. We have a brew together, and simply chat and enjoy each other's company. We would love to welcome you !
