We explored the personal name of God יהוה this morning which is a name that He told His people to call him through generations. This name means I AM. Because of the Great I AM, we discover our own "who I am". We made the bushing bush craft and entrusted our being in Jesus who claimed to be יהוה, the God that spoke to Moses from the burning bush.

The mustard seeds we planted at the Café service a few weeks ago have grown, so have our hope, faith and love in Christ....

Welcome all to our next Cafe Service tomorrow, 30 Aug at 10:45am, to dive in the passage of Moses and the burning bush, and to explore the personal name of God and what it means to us.

We made a tiny start this morning by planting mustard seeds as we reflected on Jesus’ parable of the mustard seed. 🌱
Small seeds, yet full of potential! We were reminded that the seed of the Holy Spirit is planted in every believer and we shall not despise small beginnings but trust in the transforming power of God’s Kingdom as we plant seeds of love, kindness and hope in our everyday lives.
Now we wait and watch them grow! More pictures to come when our little mustard seeds germinate. 🌱

What a fantastic Flower Festival at Hill Top Methodist Church!

The moment you walk through the door, you are greeted by the wonderful fragrance of fresh flowers. This year's theme, "Hobbies," has inspired a truly creative collection of floral displays, each celebrating the many interests and passions that enrich our lives.

Your visit won't be complete without a cuppa and a delicious homemade cake 🍰

If you haven't been yet, it's well worth calling in to enjoy the beauty, creativity and warm hospitality.

What a lovely time of celebrating our church anniversary at Café Church today! Together we reflected on what it means to be "living stones" in God's Kingdom. As the Bible reminds us, "you also, like living stones... are being built" by God into His spiritual house (1 Peter 2:5). We are all works in progress, and we hold on to the promise that "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6).
And of course... LEGO is fun at any age! 😊 Watching everyone build together was a wonderful reminder that God is still building each one of us—and together, He is building His Church.
Thank you to everyone who came and made today such a joyful celebration. Here's to continuing to be God's living stones, built on Christ our Cornerstone. ❤️⛪🧱

At our All Age + Cafe Service this morning, we had a go at making sheep to remind ourselves that we are sheep of God's pasture and our Good Shepherd Jesus laid down His life for His sheep.
"He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out". - John 10:3
