This Volunteer Week we want to say a heart felt THANK YOU to all those who help us serve the community here in Stockton

This Volunteers’ Week we want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who serves The Salvation Army in their own time.

Our volunteers bring their best selves, their God-given energies and their convictions to support our vital work. They are enthusiastic, committed and eager to give their time and skills to care for some of the most marginalised and vulnerable people in our society.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! We are so grateful for all that you do ❤️

[Image description: "Thank you to our volunteers." There is an image of two smiling women, one with blonde shoulder-length hair, wearing a white polo shirt with a red Salvation Army shield, the other has blue hair and wears glasses, with a green hoody. They each hold a white mug with a hot drink as they share a happy moment.]

This Sunday is Breakfast Church which is a relaxed service where bacon buttys are served and there is opportunity to chat together in small groups. This month we are exploring the Bible, with some quizzes, sharing favourite verses and you can come dressed like your Bible (prize for the best matched). Everyone is welcome (drop us a message to let us know you are coming so we can make sure there is enough bacon to go round) and it’s a great opportunity to come and meet us and share together.

All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small.
All things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all.

Thankyou to everyone who came and made Messy Church such a fabulous afternoon.
Our creative team work very hard, but Messy Church wouldn't be so much fun if we didn't have your support.

Our Next Messy Church is July 12th and will have a sports theme, so keep a look out for the time and place.
Until then, take care of God's creatures and be kind to one another.
God bless🙏
