The image depicts the traditionally recognized maqam (shrine and grave) of Tamim al-Dari, a companion (Sahabi) of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The Story of Tamim al-Dari & the Dajjal

As recorded in Sahih Muslim (Hadith 2942), the former Christian sailor Tamim al-Dari and his companions were shipwrecked on a remote island. There, a haired creature named Al-Jassasah led them to a monastery housing a chained giant. This figure inquired about Arabia and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ before declaring himself the Dajjal. Upon returning, Tamim shared his account with the Prophet, who publicly confirmed it aligned with his teachings on the end times. For the full narration, please refer to the referenced texts.

The Location of the Grave

The structure in the image is the historically documented shrine of Tamim al-Dari, located in Bayt Jibrin in the West Bank, Palestine, where he passed away around 661 CE. While the exact archaeological remains inside cannot be independently verified, the site remains dedicated to his memory.
