We have lots and lots and lots of potatoes 🥔, carrots 🥕 and parsnips. We also have our usual array of other vegetables, salad, fruit, bread, sweet products, frozen and fresh.

Come and help us reduce food waste and fight poverty. Norton Methodist Church Community Pantry open 12.30-1.30 today and every Sunday.

It's a bumper week at the Community Pantry this week. We'll be open at 1230 tomorrow (Sunday) and looking forward to welcoming lots of folks to help us reduce food waste and food poverty!

A reminder that’s today’s the day- Norton Methodist Church does Disney. Opened at 4pm starting at 4.15pm. If you booked with us come on down- if you did nit due to no shows we can probably still fit you in if you would like to join us.

Coffee morning today in the hall behind the church. 10-12 scones and coffees and also an amazing cake stall, cards, books, jigsaws, toys and raffle.

We have another brilliant community gathering this weekend- Assembly Bangers on Saturday 4-6pm. Whether school was good or bad for you we all have school day nostalgia.
Come and blast out those ear worm tunes from your youth and enjoy a cafe style set up with nibbles and pancakes for all.
It might not quite be on a par with James Partridge at Glastonbury but it will be fun for you and your family.

We have veg ar the front of the church that anyone passing is welcome to pick up/ take. If they don’t want to come into the full pantry in the hall. Please grab as much as you can use

**Update: we have lots and lots of ready meals, meat and Christmas snacks which must go today. You could come and feeed your family for the week with what is here. We have no more freezer space to store anymore. **

We have a bumper pantry today so need people to come and help us make good use of the massive amount of food collected. We have lots and lots of potatoes, swedes, broccoli, carrots, sprouts, lettuce, bananas and mince pies. We have plenty of bread, soft fruits, and refrigerated items. Please come and help use reduce food waste. Our pantry opens at 12.30 and to get a full range of items it’s best to be in the queue when we open as once the queue is through we allow people to go around again. If you want to help us avoid waste and don’t mind what there is to chose from then come a little after ( from 1pm). If you would like to collect for other organisations to use then contact us and come around 1.30. Finally if you have animals to feed then please message us and watch this page.We are likely to have some of the above listed veg left and can hand that out after 2.30 but will let you know when you message.

We look forward to offering a warm welcome to all on Saturday morning for a cuppa, a scone and a chat. In addition to books, cakes and tombola, there will be a craft stall, with bags, kitchen items, decorations and niknaks. All proceeds will go towards the important work of our Su***de Grief Support Group.

(The hall is towards the back of our site - walk up the drive past the church.)
