Wonderful pilgrimage walk to today from Chester-le-Street to Durham Cathedral on the Way of Learning led by Paul Revill 🥾 Beautiful scenery, great company and helpful reflections on the Holy Spirit in this season of Pentecost. It was a tad warm mind 🥵

Coming up we have an exciting Easter Wreath Night. This will be in the same spirit as our Christmas Crafternoon's, but is tailored just for grownups.
All you need to do is turn up and have a fun time.

You might have noticed something different about us.
We have a brand new and sparkling all access entrance, and we also have a lovely refurbished coffee lounge.
So to celebrate this we are throwing a community party where there will be some of the groups who use our church putting on performances for us all; with singing from the Prudhoe Community Choir and dancing from the Stocksfield Scottish Country Dancers. There will also be a valentines afternoon tea, provisions for little kids with our Stay & Play area, and a big community sing-a-long.

The local Guides and Brownies will also be there with a tabletop sale, and refreshments will be available throughout.

AND EVERYONE IS INVITED!!!! 🥳

Jesus came as light in the darkness and peace for weary hearts. Our family prayer this Christmas is that you experience even a glimpse of that hope—one that brings comfort, healing, and new beginnings.

It’s almost time for our Christmas Carol service. Anybody and everybody is welcome to come along and join us. Followed by festive refreshments.

This Saturday our Youth and Children's Worker Tim is hosting another one of a kind Carol service. It's aimed for families with children, so don't worry about fidgeting or noise.
If you want to come along and sing some carols as a family followed by mince pies, cake, and hot chocolate...then Tim would love to see you there at Stocksfield Baptist Church at 3:30pm THIS Saturday.
So come along and see what all the building work has been about!
