The holiday club fun continues TOMORROW at our celebration service! See what the kids have been up to; find out which team won the most points during the week; 🏆and join Professor Smash and Rose to discover what happened next to Jesus, the Greatest Super Hero of All Time after his death on the cross. 🦸

After the service, everyone in the community is invited to join our Fun Day - whatever the weather, there'll be free hot food, cakes and refreshments, face painting and games!

THE FINAL DAY!
Professor Smash continued to demonstrate his smashing superpowers, much to the annoyance of Super Hero Rose. The super heroes in training competed in a team challenges, including designing a super hero costume with toilet paper; racing each other through an obstacle course to be the first team collect all the super hero accessories; and navigating a path to collect balls suspended in slime - whilst blindfolded!
They also heard from the Bible about the moment Jesus died on the cross and the curtain temple tore in two - his death didn't look very powerful, but it offers us the chance to be reunited with God again.

The fun contines on Sunday morning with our Holiday Club service where we'll discover which team earnt the most points all week! Afterwards, we're hosting another fun day celebration: free food, bouncy castle and games and activities!

The rain didn't stop our super heroes from having another awesome day at our Holiday Club! The four teams created shields, did a treasure hunt to find clues and cracked a code, and continued to learn about the Greatest Super Hero of All Time: Jesus! 🦸‍♂️
Lots of friendly competition was had, with teams making up their own chants about themselves - and the other teams 😮

What a day!
We welcomed over 50 children to the first day of our Super Hero-themed Holiday Club! Teams Zap!, Krunch!, Splat! and Kapow! designed their own masks; took part in an obstacle course to test their super skills, and helped Professor Smash learn about the greatest Super Hero of all time!

Reverend Will Rubie from St Martin’s and Reverend Chris Blunt from St Mary’s joined me for an exceptionally early start for the annual National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast this morning.

The service was inspiring and rooted in Biblical principles of justice and love for neighbour, sentiments needed more than ever in today’s world.

TOMORROW!

We're continuing the St Martin's tradition of welcoming in the community! Join us as we celebrate 125 years of our church! All-age celebration service at 10.30am, afternoon of extra fun 12-2pm. Expect pulled pork rolls, face painting, delicious cake, and lots of fun. All free!

We're looking forward to celebrating 125 years of St Martin's! To mark this incredible milestone, we are throwing a party on Sunday 5th July and welcoming our friends and neighbours in.

Whether you’ve been coming to St Martin’s for decades or you’ve never stepped foot through our doors, you are welcome to join us! In the morning our celebration service is at 10.30am, and our fun day starts at 12noon - for a FREE afternoon!
