BEREAVEMENT GROUP The next meeting will take place on Thursday 17 September from 10.00am until 11.30am in the St Christopher Centre. The group is for anyone who has experienced a bereavement and is an opportunity to share your feelings; however, if you don’t want to chat you are welcome to come along just for the tea and coffee! This is not a counselling service but is a space to get support from others who have experienced bereavement.

THE LADIES’ GUILD meeting is on Thursday September 17th at 7.30pm. We welcome Mike Brown and members of the Neighbourhood Policing Team who will give a talk on Fraud Awareness and how to keep safe. All are welcome.

CHRISTMAS FAIR
There will be a meeting to discuss plans for the Christmas fair on Saturday 12th September at 10.00am in the St Christopher Centre. Anyone is welcome to attend, and we would really like to see any new faces. Please come along if you wish to help with the fair.

THE LADIES’ GUILD plans to hold a monthly Friday soup lunch during the autumn, after the 12 noon Mass. Dates to be announced. Proceeds will go to Stockport Women’s Refuge, also known as Stockport Without Abuse, a local charity that offers a range of services to support anyone affected by domestic abuse.The lunches are social events for everyone to meet and enjoy good food and good company. We hope that they will be well supported and we rely on your usual generosity for this worthy charity.
