Little update on Alastair
We are so proud of him

Remember Alistair? Back in May, we shared the brilliant news that he had secured a new role at Manchester Airport after being made redundant when the Sainsbury’s Café in Hazel Grove closed...

After 18 years in customer service, Alistair had worked with our SMBC Supported Employment team to find his next opportunity, which came about after John from ABM Industries spotted his story on LinkedIn and got in touch.

Fast forward a few months and we’ve got another update… Alistair has passed his probation with flying colours! 🎉

We loved sharing Alistair’s story when he got the job, so it’s even better to see him doing so well a few months down the line.

After a break for summer our children's groups are restarting
Toddler groups return this week and we have places at both groups which meet Wednesday and Thursday mornings

Everyone is welcome tomorrow (6 September) at 6.30pm as we celebrate together the new Festival of Creation in Christ. There will be an opportunity to give thanks for the world and acknowledge our responsibility to care for it; recognising that the world is created through Christ, sustained in Christ and destined for renewal in Christ. 🌎🌏🌍

Our charity focus this month is Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan help people through worries, diagnoses and treatment by offering pastoral and health care support. To help raise money for Macmillan, we will be holding a coffee afternoon on Sunday 27th September starting from 11.30am. For more details please see the event on Laura Holland page.

During the storms earlier this year our Eco Garden was damaged
We have arranged a working day to restore it, so everyone can enjoy it again
