The Walsingham pilgrims have arrived safely home after a wonderful 5 days at the Shrine. We’ve prayed the rosary along the Holy mile, shared in the pilgrim Mass at the Shrine and had some wonderful evening services with Benediction, healing and a beautiful torchlight procession.
We had Mass at Norwich Catholic Cathedral and visited the Julian Shrine.
As well as this we made and renewed friendships and had some free time visiting Sheringham , with some going on the Poppy Line steam railway.
We remembered and prayed for those no longer with the group and those unable to be with us through illness or other commitments.
We thank especially Father Blaise SCJ, Brother Richard, group organiser Shelagh, and our coach driver Chris Dawson from Lakeside Coaches for looking after us this week.

Our Walsingham pilgrims were privileged to have Mass at St John the Baptist Cathedral, Norwich today led by Father Blaise. We then had a guided tour.

Remembering the pilgrims no longer with us in person but always in our hearts ♥️🙏

“One of the first things I was given when I became homeless was a toothbrush from The Wellspring. To most people it’s just a toothbrush… but it reminds me that someone cared enough about me to brush away some of the pain.”

We recently received this message from someone who previously used our services, and it really stayed with us.

It’s a reminder for us that the support people receive at The Wellspring isn’t just about practical help, it’s about kindness and dignity.

Items like toiletries, clothing or food might seem small, but they can mean everything to someone going through a difficult time. If you’d like to support us by making a donation, you can do so via GiveToday: https://givetoday.co.uk/thewellspring/

Or you can drop items off at The Wellspring, Harvey Street, Stockport, SK11YD. Thank you so much!
