I hope you all are well, we are planning a dinner for the society therefore we would like to know how many of you are interested and would be attending the dinner. Asalam Aalikum everyone,

I hope you all had an amazing vacation, I just wanted to let you all know that we managed to arrange a fresher’s stall for Islamic society and Marium and I will be there tomorrow between 10:30- 5pm.

Also, a few brothers have contacted Marium in regards to finding suitable accommodation for Muslim students, she helped a few people last year and is happy to help this year as well. So please get in touch if you or someone you know is struggling to find accommodation.

As Muslims, it’s our responsibility to make new Muslim students feel welcome and provide the support and guidance they may need.

We hope to see you all tomorrow!

We hope you all are well. We are approaching the end of the semester and it’s the time of the year where we recruit new members on the committee to continue the Islamic society next year. It’s been a pleasure organising events and bringing the diverse community together on Campus. However, we would like to offer this opportunity to everyone who may be interested in taking up a position for next year. The main committee positions are; President, Treasurer and Secretary. Assalam Alaikum Everyone,

We hope you all are well and managing to keep up with the spring semester. On Thursday the 29th of March, there is an International Languages, Cultures and Sports Day. If any of you are interested in representing a country of your cultures or teaching a language, please get in contact with either me ([email protected]) or the president ([email protected]). The participation of international students in this event will represent the diversity of Muslim students from all over the world, studying at Stirling University.
International students and different societies (including Islamic Society) will be promoting their country/sports in atrium allowing students to sign up for a taster session. We would really appreciate your support and encouragement on that day if you are able to visit by, please do visit us.
We are offering Arabic lessons in the afternoon and this will be held in INTO building from 2 pm (exact time slot of our class session will be provided soon).

I hope you all are well and managing to keep up with the coursework and deadlines.
We are having a special Explore Islam session this Friday at Chaplaincy from 2-4 pm and would like to request you to join us for either part of the afternoon or all of the afternoon if you are able to. We will be joined by fourth-year film students doing their project in making a documentary focusing on Religions. Along with Robin, a representative of the Church of Scotland.
We will really appreciate if you are able to join us on this Friday afternoon.

Note: There will be no cameras and all recording will be audio based.
