Here are some more photographs from our 25th Anniversary Celebration. Our thanks to all who took part in the service, whether planned or through selection on the day! It really enhanced the service having so many different people taking part and hearing about our work from other persepctives. We are very grateful for everyone's willingness to get involved.

We hope you will like the cards we have designed this year! Packs will be available to buy from early November in churches across Stevenage and from the Bridge Builders office, as well as at Bridge Builders events over the next couple of months. Why not buy a pack and help support our work with local primary schools?

Fantastic news for one of our partner churches St. Andrew & St. George, Stevenage We hope that this grant will help to keep children at The Easter Journey and other events warm and dry for many more years!

Congratulations to St. Andrew & St. George, Stevenage, on securing £882,255 from the government's Places of Worship Renewal Fund.

The grant will support urgent roof repairs and help secure the future of this Grade II listed church, enabling it to continue serving the community through worship, welcome and practical support for generations to come.

The Revd Karen Mitchell, Rector of St Andrew & St George said: "We are absolutely delighted and immensely grateful to have received this substantial grant from the Places of Worship Renewal Fund. This award is a tremendous encouragement to our congregation and to everyone who values St Andrew & St George’s as a place of worship, community and welcome."

If you would like to volunteer at The Christmas Journey this year pop this date in your diaries now. If your church is not hosting this year why not volunteer at another church and meet some new people? The training is a lovely opportunity to refresh your memory about The Christmas Journey, catch up with old friends and maybe even learn something new - and of course being Bridge Builders there will be cake!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped to make Saturday's Anniversary Celebration so successful - to Grace Community Church for hosting, to the musicians, cake bakers, and everyone who presented, read or participated in the service in any way and any format. Most of all we would like to thank everyone who supported us by attending and sharing worship and cake with us!

Here are the first of the photographs to share with you all. There will be lots more to follow I'm sure!
