Today is Easter Sunday and it is right to wish everyone a Happy Easter, especially if that is their wish.

To most Friends though every day is a precious gift and a sacred gift.

It is worth remembering that Quakers used to ignore singling out special days as these were named through human folly. This sunday was called First Day and so on. A few Quakers still use numbering rather than the names of old gods for days and months, although this is dying out.

Any way have an excellent day today.
