🎶 Have you ever thought about joining a choir?

SOLO WAY UKRAINIAN CHOIR is looking for new voices!

It will soon be four years since our choir began its journey. During that time, we have performed more than 60 concerts, taken part in numerous cultural events, and shared Ukrainian music and culture with audiences across our community.

Now, we are opening our doors to new members.

We would love to hear from people who:
• enjoy singing;
• would like to develop their voice;
• can attend rehearsals regularly;
• enjoy being part of a creative community;
• would be proud to represent Ukrainian culture on stage.

🎵 No previous musical training is required.

Following your application, you will have the opportunity to meet our Founder & Conductor, Bozhena Yakymenko.

As we go forth from Pentecost, we continue with our weekly prayers from Calum Martin, Church Engagement Officer.

Loving God

When the sun sets, and the night closes in, how lost we can feel
Reaching out, stumbling to find our way forwards
but we give thanks that however dim the night, You are there to take our hand

To give us the strength to press on through
To give us the courage to help one another
To give us the love to keep journeying together
With one another, and with You

Afterall, for all that the night is long
Your presence is as sure as the dawn
And You are with us not because we know our way in the dark
But because You know we get lost, we stumble, we need healing guidance

For You know every bird that flits through the air
Every ray of light that pierces the night at sunrise
Every heart on earth that waits fearfully for a new day

And for each, Your presence is as sure as the dawn

Robbie's Splash and Dash

Today is the day of our minister Robbie's Splash and Dash when he will Splash into the plungepool at Garthamlock, Ruchazie and Craigend Parish Church at 12noon and then Dash to Stepps Parish Church to join a line dancing session at 2pm with Gary.... all in aid of raising funds to hold some Summer Brunch events for families in both communities.
