Stamford All Saints' Church

Stamford All Saints' Church A parish church for the people of Stamford, Lincs All Saints' Parish Church in the centre of Stamford aims to welcome anyone who comes seeking something of God.

Whatever your stage in faith, from first vague enquiry to years of faithful worship and service, there is a place for you in the life of All Saints'. Our parish is the largest in Stamford, extending out along the Tinwell, Empingham, Casterton and Little Casterton Roads and including Essex Road and New Cross Road, and like the other churches in the town, we have many members and visitors from all over Stamford and beyond.

And what a wonderful rededication service it was! I believe that everyone who attended felt exactly like I did - quite blown away by how beautifully our church has been warmed and transformed. Thank you so much to the The National Lottery, Garfield Weston Foundation, Benefact Trust and Marshall's Charity - with your funding, as well as the contributions of our parishioners, the job is done!

"Woo-oo, we're halfway there, woo-oo, we're living on a prayer..." and we are also living on the generosity of our donors, the National The National Lottery, Garfield Weston Foundation, Marshall's Charitable Trust and our many individual parishioners and Stamford residents who donated generously. Thanks to our highly efficient project managers, Gowing Group- we are dead on targe to finish in time to move back into the Church for Easter. Thank you all!

I love this photo, because although it looks like there are only stained glass saints in it, if you look closely you can also see intrepid parishioners scaling the scaffolding to go up and clean the corbels. It looks a bit like a Where's Wally illustration! Thanks to the cleaning team, and a bit thank you again to the Marshall's Charity, the Garfield Weston Foundation, the The National Lottery and the many parishioners who have made this new heating system possible.

Thanks to you, although the doors of our church are closed right now, they will open again in March with a new heating system and beautifully redecorated walls. This project wouldn't have been possible without you! We are all so grateful to you.

Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we have started our Heating Project. Because of this extremely generous grant, we have moved out of our church and the scaffolding company has moved in! More to follow, but for now we are so grateful to the NLHF - our anchor donor for this project.
