Our Baby and Toddler group is back on this morning after our summer break. Doors open at 9am - come along with your little ones to play and chat.

Heritage Open Day. Saturday, 12th September 10am until 2pm

Come and see our beautiful stained glass windows, learn about the history of the church and its community. Learn more about our historic bells and what we are doing to restore them. Get help with tracing your own family history and enjoy a bacon or sausage butty or some homemade cake.
Find out what a church at the centre of its community is all about.

Update on the fly tipping mess. We have footage of the couple who did this and have reported it but we need to let you know that this rubble looks like it contains asbestos! This causes problems for our volunteers who had tried to clear it for a wedding, then realised. We also have dog walkers, and children who use this car park as a place of recreation. So it causes problems for them too. The couple who dumped it shovelled it out of the back of their van - no doubt breathing in the dust as they did so. There will be health issues associated with this for them if they have been in close proximity to it.

Action Together have launched a project called Communities in Charge. It aims to give local people more influence over how funding is awarded in their area and what issues it should focus on. Stalybridge has been selected as one of the project areas. They are inviting local people to take part in a short survey that asks about health and wellbeing priorities and what would help you to live well in this community. If you want to take part the details are on this poster.

Voting for the new Mayor of Manchester is taking place at St Paul's church today in the Lounge, so no Thursday Welcome this week. The 11am communion service is still going ahead - use the side door for this!

We had a fab morning at our Teddy Bear's picnic outside church! A teddy bear hunt; games and ice cream as well as sitting down to eat our picnics together. We start back in September on Tuesday 1st 9am-11am.

Tuesday 21st July is our last Baby and Toddler Group session before we break for the summer. We are having a Teddy Bear's picnic at church. Bring a rug and a picnic and join us for food, games, play and ice cream. 9-11am.
