If anyone would find it helpful, the church will be open again between 3pm and 6pm tomorrow (Tuesday).

The Remembrance Book for Brodan will still be available if you’d like to leave a message, and you can light a candle too if that would be helpful.

The ribbons for memory cross is still outside the church and available 24/7.

Someone today asked me what would be happening to the book. The answer is that it will be passed on to Brodan’s parents.

The church will be open tomorrow between 11 - 3 for anyone who would like some space to reflect and remember Broden.

Light a candle, write a message in the Book of Remembrance that we shall pass on to his parents.

Available at any time of the day or the night is the Cross of Remembrance, outside the church on the Eccleshall Road side. Tie a ribbon onto the netting and take a moment to remember the bright young man that Broden was.

St Bertelin’s Church is open for anyone to come and light a candle, to remember the young man who died yesterday in our local park.

We have a Book of Remembrance if you would like to sign that for his family.

If you would like to leave flowers, (recognising that the Park is still closed) you can leave them by the bench at St Bertelin’s.

And, if you prefer, you can tie a ribbon onto the netting that I’ve had put onto one of the wooden crosses on the Eccleshall Road side of the church. Ribbons will be available or you can use your own.

Prayers were said this morning for the young man, for his family, and for all who knew and who loved him.

Following the tragedy today in Holmcroft, the church will remain open tomorrow (Sunday) after the morning service if anyone would find it helpful.
