St. John's is a Church of England church in the heart of Stafford. Here at St.

2nd, 3rd & 4th Sundays - Holy Communion
5th Sunday - Healing Service
2.00pm Wednesdays
Holy Communion

Office hours Tuesday & Wednesday 9.15am to 11.45am
Thursday 9.15am to 12.15pm John's we combine the modern with the traditional to encourage and welcome all members of the family into the community. We hold our regular Sunday services as well as courses and special services for all ages!

Well, Lent has started, Are you giving something up for Lent? Chocolate, visiting your favourite coffee shop etc. You don't have to give up something, instead you can do a good deed each day. Put an item of food or toiletries in a box to give to a charity at the end of Lent or save up the money you would spend on your coffee and donate that to charity or even aim to read the Bible every day. There are so many things that you could do instead of giving up chocolate. Have a go and let me know how you do. God Bless, Jackie

Don't forget that it's Ashe Wednesday this week so we have two services. It does mean that you get to have pancakes on Tuesday. I'm a traditionalist with my pancakes with just sugar and lemon juice. How about you? What's your favourite topping?
