As part of our commitment to being a dementia friendly church, and as part of Dementia Action Week, we are holding a Songs of Praise service at 4.00pm on Sunday 7th June, in Brewood Church.

This will be followed by tea and cake, and a retiring collection will be taken for the work of the Brewood Dementia Support Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/810084056426907).

All welcome. We are inviting suggestions of favourite hymns and songs, for which there is a sign-up sheet in church.

Today is Ascension Day, when we remember Jesus returning to be with his Father, 40 days after the resurrection on Easter Sunday.

All are welcome for our service of holy communion, as we Join us as we gather around our stunning Ascension window and reflect on what that means for us as followers of Christ.

It's Messy Church this Sunday, we are looking forward to thinking all about forgiveness with you, with lots of fun, mess, crafts, games and puppets!! And of course some tasty food at the end. See you at 4pm!

Palm Sunday, 29th March

As Holy Week begins, we remember Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, riding a donkey, as the crowd waved palm branches and shouted: "Hosanna ot the Son of David."

All are welcome as we gather in the car park of The Three Stirrups, from 9.10am (don't forget that the clocks go forward, so don't be late!), before processing to church, accompanied by Banjo the donkey.

The service in church starts at 9.30am, and will include holy communion. After the service refreshments will be served, so you are welcome to stay for fellowship.

On this momentous occasion, we pray for Archbishop Sarah, on her installation as 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, and for the Church of England that she will lead, that we will be united in our mission to demonstrate God's love in every community in this country.

We pray, too, for all who have brought this church to this point in its history, for all who worked and prayed so diligently and patiently for the full inclusion of women at all levels in every aspect of the life of the church.

Join us in prayer for the Archbishop of Canterbury on the day of her installation. 🙏

All welcome to join us as we remember and reenact the events that lead up to the death and resurrection of Jesus and celebrate the heart of the Christian faith. Holy Week culminates on Easter Sunday, which celebrates Jesus' resurrection from the dead.
