Dear Friends,

Back in December 2022, I contacted the church to step down as adminstrator of this Facebook account. Up until now, I have been keeping this account open until someone else could take it over.

The church has now been in contact and hopefully will take over by early August 2023. All future posts will come from them.

I wish everyone at Eaton Ford Methodist Church all the very best for the future.

Godspeed,

P.

Dear Friends,

As 2022 comes to a close, I hope you all have had a peaceful and joyful Christmas. 2023 will bring us new challenges in our lives but God will always be there for us when we need him.

In 2022, the Office for National Statistics stated that the number of people who identified as Christians in England and Wales had fallen to less than 50%. I believe that we as Christians together have something positive to give society as a whole, and that in order to remain part of this society, we must make our voices heard.

While the number of Christians is falling in England and Wales, globally the number is increasing. However, in many countries, being a Christian is often met with persecution and danger. Please continue to pray for our Christian brothers and sisters across the world.

Lastly, the future of many smaller churches across the UK remains uncertain. Again, we should pray for them that they may grow and help others along the path with God.

I wish you all the best for 2023.

Godspeed,
