Congratulations to David Wells (to the left of Bishop Sarah, at the same level), one of nine admitted as Licensed Lay Minister (Reader) at Ely this afternoon. And there are the majority of his fellow Ely Diocese LLMs gathered around.

Harvest time at All aboard this afternoon. A slippery tale, so bring your waterproofs!

We're delighted that, on Saturday 26th September at 7pm, the Friends of SNPC are presenting a concert given by the Fairhaven Singers, one of Cambridge's top non-student choirs. The programme - which has already delighted Cambridge audiences - will be music for a late summer evening; a mix of sacred and secular. Tickets available from the Friends or online: advance booking strongly advised.

We're really delighted that VAMPS have been settling into both our buildings, in preparation for their show in late November. It may be a beast to rehearse, but it promises to be a real beauty when the show comes.

This coming Sunday (30th August) there is no 9.30am service at St Neots Parish Church, as the congregation joins the Eynesbury congregation at Eynesbury Church (five minutes' walk from here) at 10am to welcome a special visitor.

We are delighted that this coming Sunday, 30th August, Sarah Clark, Bishop of Ely, will be leading worship here in St Neots for the first time, at the United Parish Eucharist at Eynesbury (where we are joined by the St Neots Parish Church congregation and others). The service begins at 10 a.m. - an hour earlier than the usual Eynesbury start time.
