St Andrews Muslim Students Association St Andrews Muslim students association is a society in which we aim to create a friendly environment in which Muslim students may practice their religion freely in a safe environment, we organise events and are committed to fundraising for charity.

St Andrews Muslim Students Association (STAMSA) is a student-led society that supports Muslim students throughout their university journey, spiritually, socially and academically. Rooted in the Quranic ethos of seeking knowledge, STAMSA provides a welcoming space where you can practise your faith confidently, make friends and grow through meaningful experiences.

Whether you’re new to St Andrew

s or returning, STAMSA is open to all and offers a range of activities, including:

• Socials and potlucks
• Knowledge circles and talks
• Islamic Awareness Week
• Fundraising and charity initiatives
• Trips, collaborations and much more

Prayer Facilities:
Prayer rooms are located on the first floor of the Chaplaincy (Mansefield Building) opposite the Students’ Union:
• Sisters’ Prayer Room
• Brothers’ Prayer Room

Jumu’ah (Friday) prayers are held during term time in Victory Memorial Hall. Wudhu and bathroom facilities are available in the Chaplaincy building.

Access Times:
Weekdays (8am to 5pm): enter via the buzzer at the Chaplaincy entrance
Evenings & weekends: access via university matriculation card until 10pm
