Well done Georgiana Mazilu and everyone at Transition!

We're so grateful to all the students who donated their unwanted clothes, books, kitchen items, bedding and so much more, before they left town for the summer break. Thank you!

We are now busy sorting everything so that new and returning students can preorder our preloved sustainable bedding bundles, and enjoy picking up all their student essentials at the annual Big Give Away in Freshers' Week.

Our St AndReuse partner charity the St Andrews Environmental Network have been able to source bedding and other essentials for their work supporting households in need. Local schools have also benefited from toys, games and stationery for their fundraising summer fayres, and the School of Earth & Environmental Sciences have been able to restock on outdoor clothing and boots to lend to their students doing fieldwork.

Unfortunately so much still ends up in the skips and bins. But if you love what we do, then please spread the word and encourage everyone you know to join our local sharing economy!

If you ever shop online, you can help raise funds for St Andrews New Kirk without it costing you any more! We have now got the New Kirk signed up as a registered charity on their site, so if you go shopping via their website (or download the app) the Kirk gets a percentage of your spend donated by the retailer. M&S, John Lewis, insurance, holidays, and all sorts have committed to this... even Fortnum and Mason if that's where you shop 😉

Prayer of Gathering…
On this Trinity Sunday, we come to worship the God who is relationship - the God who is Creator, Christ and Spirit; who is Source, Saviour and Sustainer, closer to us than we can possibly imagine.
God of life, of all life and every life, open our hearts to your fullness and our lives to your presence, as we come to celebrate together the great good news of your love. Amen
