We will also be open tomorrow. FRIDAY 29th May 9 til 12noon..

So you may wonder..
Why we have rummage sales..
For us it's 5 fold.. .
1. We provide a quick, easy way for people to dispose of items they no longer need..
2. By moving items on we encourage recycling, reduce landfill and support more sustainable living.
3. By pricing reasonable, and in the case of our "Fill A Bag at £6" extreme cheaply, we allow local families and individuals to access items they need.
4. By gifting on, families in most need are supported.
5. Yes the items we sell were donated freely, but by charging, we raise funds to keep us supporting the local community by way of face to face groups, 1-1 support, food & School Uniform Bank and more.
As a small independant church funds are low, whilst costs are high, utilities alone (electric, water cost around £600 mth). Grants are proving harder to apply for. To run groups we need resources, training, insurances and staff. Whilst much of the work here is done by a handful of dedicated volunteers, like all businesses the current rise in costs have impacted us too..
So please if you come along to our rummage sales, please think about how you act, how much you ram into your bags and the comments you make. We know everyone loves a bargain, we know some of you sell on, to help earn yourselves a few pennies and we're fine with this, we simply ask you to be mindful, fair and reasonable.
