إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
Dr.Ismat sadly passed away in London last week , we ask Allah in his mercy to look after him and reward him handsomely for all his efforts to have a Masjid in our town. Previously,Muslims had to travel to Liverpool or Preston in order to perform their Salat . He was one of the main forces behind establishing our Masjid in Southport. He spent time, money and physical effort to achieve this.
May Allah bless his soul and Grant him the highest place in paradise and comfort him in Jannah. May the other brothers and sisters in Southport and beyond walk in his footsteps and support the Masjid to prosper and remain as a beacon of light for the community and for future generations.
Please make Duaa for him and all his family .

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله
*Dhul Hijjah and EID-UL-ADHA ANNOUNCEMENT*

Assalamu’alaykum,

Tomorrow, Monday, is the first day of Dhul-Hijjah.

Eid-ul-Adha will be on *Wednesday 27th May*

*The day of ’Arafah:* Tuesday 26th May

Please try to fast the coming 10 days if not possible then Mondays and Thursdays if not possible then make an effort to fast on the day of Arafah.

The Prophet ﷺ was asked about fasting on the day of ’Arafah, he said, “It expiates the sins (Minor) of the past year and the coming year.” [Muslim]

🔸 *EID SALAAH*

Southport Masjid will have two Eid salahs. The 1st at 8:30
The 2nd at 9:30
Places reserved for ladies in both salads
Please come early, Recite Takbeer and be mindful of our neighbours
