New pastures for our founding trustee.

We would like to take a moment to celebrate and thank Reverend Patrick Evans, one of our founding trustees as he retires from local Methodist Ministry.

Patrick's vision, wisdom and unwavering encouragement have helped shape our charity from it's very beginnings . Long before Compassion Acts became the organisation it is today, Patrick recognised the importance of bringing churches, communities and organisations together to serve those who need support most. His belief in partnership, compassion and inclusion has left a lasting legacy that continues to guide our work every day.

Throughout the years, Patrick has been a thoughtful listener, a trusted advisor and a constant source of encouragement. We are incredibly grateful for the time, care and leadership given so generously.

Retirement certainly doesn't look like slowing down for Patrick! This September, he will be cycling over 1,000 miles to raise funds for Compassion Acts and our local hospice, a wonderful reflection of his continued commitment to serving others.

From everyone at Compassion Acts, thank you Patrick for your friendship, faith, leadership and faithful service. We wish you every happiness and blessing in this exciting new chapter.
