We pray for all in the Philippines as the country responds to Monday's powerful earthquake. 🙏

Solidarity to our sister organisation Caritas Philippines (NASSA) as they assess the extent of the damage.

Holy Family Church Playgroup is every Wednesday in term time from 10-11.30am. This is for all parents/carers of children from babies to 5 years to help make friends and play with toys, crafts, to sing songs and listen to stories. Baby changing facilities and toilets are available within the hall.

£2 per family helps towards running costs, snacks for children, and drinks for children, parents/carers are provided.

Our parish hall and car park are on Manning Road, Southport, PR8 6AT.

Also as we have grown, a few more volunteers would be useful, if you have a couple of hours to spare. Thanks.

Tomorrow (8th June) is Meet Up Monday. Everyone is welcome to join us. We will
be painting watercolours, both for beginners and our more experienced artists. Come and give it a go. We will also be joined by some of the volunteers from Cornerstone Library in Churchtown. They will be explaining all about the services they offer in our
local community.

We are looking forward once again to welcoming visitors, during Southport Heritage Open Days Festival, on Sunday 20th September between 1pm and 5pm.

It's a hive of activity behind the scenes here, and to celebrate we've got another event announcement! 🥳

We're so pleased to see the return of Holy Family Catholic Church, back on the line-up for 2026 💒

Holy Family is offering tours of the church with its beautiful stained glass windows, along with a heritage trail, and stories of those who have contributed to the parish over the years.
