One of the Elders wanted to cancel because of the cold. We didn't and 9 people came for communion. 9 elderly people who would otherwise have been home alone or caring for an ill spouse. They got a warm welcome, some company, a hot drink, a laugh and some even enjoyed the sermon! Never underestimate the power of just being there - you don't know who might turn up and what they might need
