Where: Vicoria Circus (Outside the Odeon Cinema), The Victoria Plaza, Southend City Centre

People from the local church are coming together to show to God’s love to the people of Southend.
This is a free event.
Starting at 11am we are having a worship service with Bishop Adam sharing.
It is a great time for those from all churches to come together to celebrate the love that God has demonstrated to us.

You are warmly invited to join us for a Prayer Walk as we prepare our hearts and community in the lead-up to our upcoming event 'Southend 26' at the end of Southend Hogh Street on Saturday 12 September.

Prayer Walk Meeting Point: Near the Southend Odeon

Make a difference in your community: Volunteer Debt Coaches wanted

Southend CAP Debt Advice Centre (SCDAC) is looking for two new Volunteer Debt Coaches to join the team and help people facing financial difficulties in Southend and Rayleigh.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. Volunteer Debt Coaches meet with clients, gather important financial information and help present CAP debt plans, offering practical support alongside compassion, Christian hope and pastoral care.

You don’t need previous debt advice experience. Full training and support are provided, and the role requires a minimum commitment of one day a week.

If you have a heart for helping people, enjoy listening and encouraging others, and would like to use your time and skills to bring hope to those facing challenging circumstances, this could be a great opportunity for you.
