A great morning of Easter making and playing with our Centre Cafe families and others.

An Easter garden, an Easter cross, Easter beads, Easter biscuit, and more, finished with the Easter story.

Our normal Centre Cafe is closed for Easter holidays. Instead we are running to special events.
Tomorrow we're looking forward to this special 'Make and Play Easter Event.'
This is a ticketed event, and unfortunately all tickets are sold out.

We had an amazing morning baptising Toby and Frank.
Two young people who have been coming to our Boys Brigade from a young age.
Baptisms are always special occasions for those being baptised and for those of who get to witness it.

It has been great to see them grow up and come to this point.
They both shared their stories of how they came to be baptised
in the presence family, friends and the congregation.
Stories of God turning up, and hearts saying yes.

We believe in investing in young people.
We believe in offering them opportunities to explore, encounter and experience the Christian faith.
We believe that the God we read about in the Bible,
the God who shows up in Jesus,
is the same God who invites us into a life of hope and love.

We’re looking forward to celebrating the baptisms of Frank and Toby this Sunday.

Baptism is about the grace of God meeting our human faith in the water.

We baptise because Jesus was and calls those who would follow him to do likewise.

Merry Christmas!

On Christmas Day Andy, our minister said:
The most beautiful line in the nativity story is when we are told Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. (Luke 2.19) This is insight into being rich. It is also a description of the good news: in Jesus, God treasures up all things, God treasures each of us, and ponders us and all creation, with loving attention in his heart, now and for ever.
