We are looking for a Parish Administrator/PA to support the Rector and the life of a vibrant, diverse church with families and young children.

This varied and rewarding role includes managing communications, coordinating parish activities, and handling administration for key life events, such as weddings, funerals, and baptisms. You will play an important part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the church and supporting its mission in the community.

The position offers flexible working, 16 hours per week, £14.50 an hour, and 6 weeks’ holiday.

This role is ideal for someone who is personable, efficient, and creative, with strong administrative skills and a heart for community engagement.

The lovely Shrove Tuesday congregation at Christchurch Freemantle in Southampton this morning. Will there be pancakes for lunch is the question?

Update: no pancakes but very yummy soup and pastries and great company instead. Much better 😀
