WAVE Worship has begun in Bitterne!🥳
A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who came along even in the rain — and to everyone who joined us for our first WAVE Worship taster! The sunshine even made an appearance at the end.☀️

It was a lovely, relaxed time of worship and trying new things together, and we’re excited to share WAVE Worship with even more people soon.🫶

💚 September at Bitterne URC — Welcoming, Reflective & Inclusive 💚

As we step into September, we’re looking forward to a new season of worship, reflection, and community at Bitterne URC.
Join us each Sunday at 10:30am for worship, reflection, and community — with services led by Revd. Brian Parfitt, Nikki Fisher, and Revd. Mike Perrott (taking communion and church meeting), plus a special Disability Awareness Sunday led by our inclusive team on Sunday 27 September.

It’s a month to celebrate belonging, inclusion, and the joy of worshipping together — whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time, you’re always welcome here. 🌿

We’re looking forward to our WAVE Worship Taster next Tuesday (8th Sept, 2–3:30pm) at Bitterne URC!🥳
It’s a gentle, creative time of worship for adults with and without learning disabilities, where everyone can join in at their own pace.🫶

Together with WAVE - We're All Valued Equally we’ll explore faith through music, drama, crafts, and reflection — celebrating that we’re all valued equally.
There’ll be cake, laughter, and plenty of space to connect and belong.💕😄🍰

We’re thrilled to be supporting the British Science Festival as Highly Sprung Performance ’s Castaway arrives in Bitterne Precinct — a city‑wide event shining a light on climate issues and celebrating our community.

We’re proud to be welcoming these talented performers at Bitterne URC, giving our area a brilliant chance to come together, feel seen, and join in the big climate conversations shaping our future.

🧩Puzzle lovers, we need you!
As we eagerly get ready for our Jigsaw Puzzle Festival this October, we’re looking for more helpers to make up puzzles — and we’ve got lots of aircraft jigsaws waiting to take off. ✈️
Pop into church, pick up a puzzle and a board, and enjoy a relaxing time making it up! We can collect them once finished if needed, just let us know.☺️
