The Lord’s Prayer 🙏

LOVE CHRISTMAS 🎁

We had an incredible week last week for Love Christmas. We packed and delivered 1600 Bags of Kindness across Southampton, and it was amazing to meet families and invite them to our Christmas Banquet this week.

Thank you SO much to all the incredible people who made Love Christmas happen - we have the best volunteers! You were all absolutely amazing and we are so thankful to you all for the help.

A special thank you to the firefighters from Hampshire and IOW Fire Service who delivered in their fire engine, and all the children who helped us pack too!

Joint Worship and Prayer Gathering - Saint Mary’s Church x Southampton Lighthouse International Church x Lord’s Hill Church

It's just over 2 months until Christmas 😱 and our amazing Love Your Neighbour team are already well underway with their planning for Love Christmas.

Each year we raise funds to buy gift items for the boxes that are sent out to hundreds of deserving families and individuals across Southampton.

We'd love your support with helping us raise funds this year! There are three specific fundraising events you can get involved with:

Summer can often mean a different rhythm of life for lots of us, and it's a great time to prioritise rest and a slower pace if you can. Why not try a digital detox for August and switch to a physical Bible for your quiet time?

We wanted to let you know of two changes to the church rhythm for August.

Firstly, we'll only have 3 gatherings on the Sundays in August, instead of 4. Our 11am gathering at Lodge Road will take a pause and start again in September. We'd love to see you at our Chapel Road site over August, at 9.15am (communion), 10.30am or 6pm.

Secondly, while our Tables take a break during August, we're putting on two evenings of Bible study and hangout called Summer Studies. Join us at Lodge Road at 7pm on Wednesday 6th and Wednesday 20th August. We'll do a Bible study together and then head to the Common for games and chance to get to know each other more!

It’s one week until FOCUS! 😍

The countdown is well and truly on! Has anyone started packing yet? Here’s the packing list for all you organised campers ⛺️

In particular please note that we’ll be doing a boardgames session, so bring any good boardgames you have, and the wonderful Rachel will be doing some chill craft sessions so bring your own craft if you’d like to join in e.g. crocheting 🫶

Also the FOCUS app is now available so do download that and you can see the festival schedule and all that will be on offer for what will be an amazing weekend! We’ll also have lots of fun in the Saints Village together and we’ll share the activities we’ve got planned when you arrive 👌

We can’t wait to see what God does at FOCUS, it’s going to be an incredible time of encounter!

“I am no longer lost. I have been found.” –Gary ❤️

We had the best time yesterday at our baptism service! It was so much fun to celebrate alongside Gary, Jake, Jess and Jude as they declared their faith and were baptised 🙌
