This Sunday we will be thinking about three things - Faith, Hope and Generosity. All deeply intertwined. While faith provides the foundation of belief, and hope offers an optimistic vision for the future, generosity is the active, outward expression of both. Together they build resilience, deepen community bonds, and inspire action. All are welcome.

Count On Nature Cancelled for Today

It is with deep regret that we have decided to cancel todays Count on Nature in the churchyard. With the weather forecast as heavy intermittent showers and thunder, we fear our recording sheets and participants will become too soggy. However, nature will no doubt relish the rain and we will reorganise the event for Saturday 4th July.

We all know God has a sense of humour, so if it does turn out sunny for the rest of the day....

Join us today at our Coffee Morning (4th June) between 10am and 11.30am is in aid of supporting people affected by polycystic kidney disease, raising awareness and funding research. Founded in 2000, they are the first and only UK charity solely dedicated to improving the lives of an estimated 70,000 individuals and their families affected by polycystic kidney disease (PKD) in the UK. We look forward to seeing you there.

Wi******er Diocese have advised us that almost £100k in donations has just been given to churches using easyfundraising. All courtesy of retailers giving donations when kind supporters shop online.

Our church is already registered and just over £2,000 has been raised by a dozen supporters. You too can become a supporter and help us raise even more funds by signing up through this link https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/stjameschurchwestend . Then, each time you shop online with over 8,000 well known retailers like Tesco, trainline, M&S, Sainsbury’s, Booking.com, eBay and many more, they’ll activate a cashback donation for our church courtesy of the retailer you shopped with – at no extra cost to anyone.

Please do consider helping us in this way.
