We were honoured to witness the baby dedication of Maoma and Godwin’s beautiful newborn. What a precious and joyful occasion as we celebrated the gift of new life and prayed for God’s guidance, protection, and blessings over this little one.

May this little life be a blessing to the family, the church, and the wider community. May God’s hand remain upon this precious child today and always.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Sermon title: Never let Go

Bible Reading: Genesis 3 v 1

Everything was perfect in the garden of Eden until the serpent visited. The devil did not physically attack Eve, he attacked her perception of God. He questioned God’s Word, God’s character, and God’s intentions towards her. Once Eve entertained the serpent’s lies, everything changed.

Adam and Eve had the incredible privilege of walking, meeting, and communicating with God personally. But after sin entered, they hid from the very God they had once enjoyed being with. Sin disrupted their relationship with God, with each other, and ultimately with the world around them.

The same battle continues in our families today. The world tells us, "You don't need God to build a successful family. " But God should not be second in our homes, there should be no competition for first place, he must remain at the center.

Psalm 127:1 reminds us: ' Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it.....' Deuteronomy 6 also reminds us of the importance of intentionally teaching our children about God. We must be passionate about knowing God ourselves, because we cannot effectively pass on a faith that we are not living. If we do not teach our children, the world will teach them.

The devil is described as a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour 1 Peter 5:8. Let us therefore keep Christ at the centre of our homes and build our families on him and never let go of our families in this fight with the devil!

Sermon Title: The who, The healing and The harvest
Preacher: Brother Okantan Ayeh
Bible Reading: John 9: 1-12

Sometimes God’s healing may not be instant, it can be a process. This does not mean that God does not exist or that he has forgotten us. Rather, the process requires patience, faith and trust in him, knowing that, in his timing, his name will be glorified.

After Jesus mixed saliva with mud and placed it on the blind man’s eyes, he told him to go and wash in the Pool of Siloam. The man obeyed, and on his way back, his neighbours and those who knew him said, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?”

Some claimed that he was, while others said, “No, he only looks like him.” But he insisted, “I am the man.”

“How then were your eyes opened?” they asked.

He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.”

The Who: Jesus was the source of his healing.
The Healing: The man had to exercise faith, obedience and patience in the process.
The Harvest: His testimony became a witness to those around him.

Sometimes, the process may not make sense, but trust the one who started it. Your healing may become someone else’s testimony.
